Background/Purpose

Procedure

This test is designed to determine OA mobility in an unloaded position. The patient is supine on the table with their hands at their sides. The patient is instructed to rotate their head as far as they can to one side and then perform a chin tuck. The goal is to achieve 20 degrees of OA flexion on each side.
Performed: Unilaterally

Dialog

Place patient supine and have them maximally rotate the head to one side and perform a chin tuck.

Criteria

• Patient achieves 20 degrees of OA flexion.
